🔍 About the Role

As a Volvo Truck Technician / Diesel Mechanic, you will:

  • Perform diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles

  • Use OEM-level tools and software for accurate fault identification and rectification

  • Occasionally attend off-site breakdowns or service recovery jobs

  • Optionally take part in FIFO weekend work (once a month) for additional pay

✅ Preferred Candidate Profile

We’re looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience:

🎓 Education & Certification

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or international equivalent)

  • Recognized certifications such as Red Seal, City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, FETAC, or a 3–4 year apprenticeship

  • Brand-specific training in Volvo, MACK, UD, or Scania preferred

  • International candidates must pass Vetassess Trade Assessment for Cert III equivalency

🧠 Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience servicing Volvo or Euro 6 trucks

  • Familiarity with dealership-level processes and diagnostics tools

  • Team player with strong problem-solving skills

  • Good written and verbal English communication

🌍 Visa Sponsorship – SID Program

SID Visa Sponsorship is available for international applicants who meet Australian government requirements:

  • ✅ Recognized trade qualification (Red Seal, NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.)

  • ✅ Cert III Trade Assessment (Vetassess or similar)

  • ✅ IELTS Score 5.0+ in all bands (unless exempt by nationality or education)

  • ✅ Financial readiness and willingness to relocate ASAP after visa grant
