Job Responsibilities

As a Truck Mechanic or Auto-Electrician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining a strong safety focus in all aspects of work.
  • Performing diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, inspections, and field servicing on a range of third-party fleets, including Volvo, MACK, Scania, Freightliner, and UD.
  • Assisting with workshop duties as required and collaborating with the team for efficient workflow.
  • Following company policies, procedures, and systems to maintain compliance with Australian Standards.
  • Developing strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders based on respect and excellent service.

Candidate Requirements

We are seeking experienced Truck Mechanics and Auto-Electricians who meet the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in a similar mechanical role.
  • A recognized trade qualification (Cert III, City & Guilds, Red Seal, or equivalent).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Capable of working both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality work, the ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
