🛠️ Truck Technician Role Overview

As a qualified Diesel Mechanic / HGV Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing heavy commercial vehicles to OEM standards

  • Conducting safety checks and maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment

  • Collaborating with a high-performing workshop team to meet productivity goals

  • Delivering exceptional customer service by ensuring quality workmanship

✅ What You Need to Succeed

  • ✔️ Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics (or international equivalent: Red Seal, City & Guilds, FETAC, etc.)

  • ✔️ Proven experience with HGVs, highway trucks, or heavy diesel vehicles

  • ✔️ Ideally, hands-on experience with Volvo, MACK, or Scania trucks

  • ✔️ Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills (including computer diagnostics a bonus)

  • ✔️ A team-first attitude and willingness to work rotating shifts

  • ✔️ Commitment to health & safety standards in a workshop setting
