5 Axis CNC Machinist Responsibilities

You will be responsible for producing complex precision-engineered components while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Your duties will include:

  • Programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres
  • Producing complex aerospace and precision-engineered components
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Selecting tooling and machine offsets
  • First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
  • Using precision measuring equipment
  • Maintaining micron-level tolerances
  • Working within ISO-accredited quality systems
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Meeting production schedules without compromising quality

5 Axis CNC Machinist Skills & Experience

Applicants must have commercial experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.

We are particularly interested in candidates currently working within:
