5 Axis CNC Machinist Responsibilities
You will be responsible for producing complex precision-engineered components while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Your duties will include:
- Programming, setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres
- Producing complex aerospace and precision-engineered components
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Selecting tooling and machine offsets
- First-off inspection and in-process quality checks
- Using precision measuring equipment
- Maintaining micron-level tolerances
- Working within ISO-accredited quality systems
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Meeting production schedules without compromising quality
5 Axis CNC Machinist Skills & Experience
Applicants must have commercial experience setting and operating 5-axis CNC machining centres.
We are particularly interested in candidates currently working within:
- Aerospace Manufacturing
- Aviation Component Manufacturing

- High-Tech Manufacturing
- Automotive OEM Manufacturing

You should also possess:
- Strong CNC programming and setup experience
