Are you a qualified Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Technician, or Truck Mechanic seeking a rewarding career opportunity in Australia? We are hiring for a full-time diesel mechanic position in Wodonga, VIC, working with Volvo, Mack, and UD trucks. 🔧 Diesel Mechanic Job Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing of heavy diesel vehicles including engines, transmissions, brakes, and differentials

  • Carry out diagnostic testing using advanced diagnostic software and computerized tools

  • Complete detailed repair orders and service reports with parts usage and prioritised recommendations

  • Supervise and guide apprentice diesel mechanics and technicians

✅ Diesel Mechanic Job Requirements

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or internationally recognised trade qualification (e.g., Red Seal, City & Guilds, Vetassess)

  • Proven experience in the heavy vehicle, diesel engine, or truck repair industry

  • Familiarity with American, European, or Japanese truck drivelines

  • Experience with Euro 6 emission-compliant engines

  • Valid HR or HC truck licence preferred

  • Strong diagnostic, technical, and communication skills

  • High attention to detail, self-motivated, and safety-conscious

  • Fluent in English (IELTS or PTE required for applicable visa applicants)
