Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Truck Parts Interpreter with strong Volvo Trucks and Volvo Machinery parts knowledge to join their Perth team.

Truck Parts Interpreter – Perth

As a Truck Parts Interpreter, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for a diverse range of commercial vehicles and fleet assets.

You will work closely with workshop teams, suppliers, customers and regional operations to ensure the correct parts are available when required.

The role will involve working with a wide range of assets, including:

  • Volvo Trucks
  • Heavy commercial vehicles
  • Prime movers
  • Medium-duty trucks
  • Trailers
  • Utilities and SUVs
  • Fleet and hire equipment
  • Volvo Machinery

Your knowledge of Volvo truck parts and heavy vehicle components will be particularly important in this position.

About You – Volvo Parts Experience Essential

To be considered for this Truck Parts Interpreter job in Perth, you must have a strong background in commercial vehicle parts and, importantly, at least 3 years’ experience working with Volvo Trucks and/or Volvo Machinery parts.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Parts Interpreter
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Volvo Trucks / Volvo Machinery parts – essential
  • Strong knowledge of truck and heavy vehicle parts
  • Mechanical experience or strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent parts identification and sourcing skills
  • Experience with stock control, inventory management and stock auditing
  • Experience using parts inventory management systems
  • Odoo experience highly desirable
  • Experience arranging freight and coordinating local deliveries
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive “can-do” attitude
  • A commitment to continuous improvement
  • Previous experience in transport, fleet, logistics or the hire industry is advantageous
  • A National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
