What we offer:

  • $120,000 – $130,000 salary + superannuation

  • Housing and utilities package included

  • Up to $8,000 relocation & repatriation support

  • Salary packaging up to $18,500 tax-free

  • 7 weeks annual leave — travel Australia on your days off

  • $1,600 isolation bonus every 4 months (up to 3 per year)

  • SID Visa sponsorship available for international AHPRA RNs

  • Short-term or long-term contracts considered


About the role:

As a Remote Area Nurse (RAN) with MHHS, you’ll:

  • Deliver emergency and primary health care across remote homelands

  • Travel by 4WD and light aircraft — no two days are the same

  • Lead portfolios in Chronic Disease, Women’s Health, Child Health, Mental Health

  • Mentor Aboriginal Health Practitioner trainees and support community-led care

  • Work autonomously while backed by a strong multidisciplinary health team

  • Build skills in tropical medicine, rural health, and Indigenous health


What you need to apply:

  • Nursing degree + AHPRA registration (or eligibility)

  • BLS/ALS/REC/MEC/Immunisation/Pharmacotherapeutics (or willingness to obtain)

  • Manual driver’s licence, Working With Children clearance, police check

  • Cultural sensitivity and a taste for adventure

  • Remote nursing experience is ideal — but international nurses are welcome and supported
