Are you a seasoned Heavy Vehicle Mechanic ready to shift gears into a career that drives across the Northern Territory? This is your chance to work with a global leader in road surfacing, right from their Darwin depot.
As part of a highly mobile sealing crew, you’ll get hands-on with heavy plant and specialised road construction equipment across some of the most remote and scenic locations in Australia.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Diagnose & repair heavy vehicles and mobile plant

Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance

Respond rapidly to on-site breakdowns

Maintain spare parts inventory

Log repairs and maintain detailed service records

Travel to remote project sites and work weekends as needed

Contribute to safety, hazard prevention, and compliance
🎯 What You Bring
-
5+ years as a qualified mechanic (2+ in bituminous surfacing preferred)
-
Experience with Volvo, Hino, Scania, Mercedes, DAF, Schaefer, Secmair
-
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)

HR licence (HC preferred), Forklift licence essential
-
First Aid & CPR (advantageous)

White Card (support to obtain if required)
