Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems)

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and machinery

Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures

Operate and maintain service trucks efficiently

Coordinate with the Shop Lead and fellow technicians for scheduling and repairs
Required Qualifications:
-
Valid Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy-Duty Mechanics (Red Seal, City & Guilds, Cert III, FETAC, or equivalent international certification)

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy-duty maintenance and repair

Experience operating a mobile service truck (ideally)
- Valid Driver’s License required

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-changing work environment
Preferred Skills:

Welding experience is a strong asset

Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
