Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems)

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and machinery

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures

  • Operate and maintain service trucks efficiently

  • Coordinate with the Shop Lead and fellow technicians for scheduling and repairs


Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy-Duty Mechanics (Red Seal, City & Guilds, Cert III, FETAC, or equivalent international certification)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in heavy-duty maintenance and repair

  • Experience operating a mobile service truck (ideally)

  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-changing work environment


Preferred Skills:

  • Welding experience is a strong asset

  • Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
