Job description
Our client is a leading Australian owned Multi- Brand Truck Servicing Agent.
They are looking for 6 Qualified Truck Mechanics and Auto-Electricians for their growing Kalgoorlie Workshops
Job Role:-
You will be responsible for a focused, organized and high performing transport team with responsibilities and tasks such as:
- Maintaining a strong safety focus
- Servicing of Third Party fleets (Volvo, MACK, Scania, Freightliner, UD etc)
- Perform regular diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, inspections and field servicing,
- Assist in Workshop duties as required
- Understanding and working effectively within the processes of policies, procedures / systems
- Maintaining compliance to Australian Standards
- Develop excellent working relationships based upon mutual respect with all customers, suppliers and other stakeholders
Candidate requirements:-
- 2 years’ or more post qualification experience in a similar mechanical role
- Hold a Recognised Trade Qualification (Cert III, City & Guilds, Red Seal etc)
- Well-developed communication skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and in pressure situations
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changeable environment effectively, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated
